Explores the philosophy of teaching and learning of “Sunny” Bancroft, Aboriginal supervisor of “Collum Collum”, a cattle station operated by an Aboriginal co-operative in northern NSW. Also tells the story of Shane Gordon, a sixteen yr old apprentice as he takes his first steps towards turning into a stockman beneath Sunny’s guidance. Billy Golfus, who grew to become brain-damaged in a motor scooter accident, goes on the street to meet people with disabilities around the nation and witness first hand what it is really like to reside with a disability in America.

In this comic novel, a man with strange powers and his stunning daughter, claiming to be despatched from Venus, force the world into disarming. The Russians cheat and secrete 4 H-bombs in American cities, blowing one up as an indication and threatening to explode the others except the United States withdraws all its standard forces from around the globe. The Russians are foiled and it is revealed that the “aliens” are actually emissaries of the British, who have hatched this scheme to trick the superpowers into nuclear disarmament.
